Surround Yourself in Country Charm...

At Colbert's Farm Estate, charm is served up country style!

Colbert's Farm Estate was built in 1887 by Adam Roland, Harold Colbert's great-grandfather, and has been owned by his family for four generations. Located on Coder Road, two miles west of Calvin, the rustic, secluded eight-room house is located in beautiful Trough Creek Valley. The 150-acre farm borders state game lands and has ample parking for cars and boats.

Most of the comforts of home are provided including heat, indoor plumbing, shower, hot and cold water, washer and dryer, electric stove, refrigerator/freezer, microwave, color television, and comfortable furniture.

We have made some changes at the Farm. We have installed a whirlpool tub for the enjoyment of our guests. Relax a busy day away in the warm and soothing waters. More improvements have been made at the Farm for your comfort. We are now air-conditioned! Beat the summer heat with our new air-conditioning. We are now also handicap friendly but not ADA compliant. Persons with handicaps should check with us concerning our limitations before making a reservation. Cookware, dishes, silverware, coffee pot, and a toaster are included. Pillows, linens, and towels are provided as well. A crib and a high chair are available upon request. Telephone service is not available. Colbert's Farm Estate has four bedrooms with two queen-size beds and two full-size beds. Bedrooms are furnished with rustic cedar-log furniture. Portable air mattresses are also available for additional guests.

The estate also has a wonderful meeting room for your use. We have a 12 X 30 room with fireplace, table, and chair seating for 12 people. A laptop to television connection can be provided on request.
